Geography. Is a science that studies territories and that aims to identify,contextualise,explain and describe the different facts and phenomena that are associated with territories.
Coast. Land next to the sea
Ocean. The entire body of salt water that covers more than 70 percent of the
Earth's surface.
Mountain range. A serie of mountains that are the same in form, direction and origin.
Valley. A long depression in the land surface,usually containing a river, formed by erosion.
Hill. A natural elevation that is smaller than a mountain.
River. A natural stream of water that finish emptying into an ocean,river or a lake.It follow a definite course.
Lake. It's a large body of salt water or fresh water.
Oasis. Is a place in a desert where there is water and the land is fertile.
Desert. A dry sandy region of little rainfall and extreme temperatures.
Archipielago. A large group of islands.
Flood. An overflowing of water onto land.
Earthquake. A sudden movement of the earth's crust caused by the release of stress accumulated along geologic faults or byvolcanic activity. Also called seism.
Climate. The meteorological conditions, including temperature, precipitation and wind, that characteristically prevail in a particular region.
Altitude. The height of a place above sea level.
Edge. The limit of something.
Earth's crust. The outer layer of the Earth.
Soil. The land that it has been prepared for cultivation.
Goods. Everything that we need to survive.
Oxygen. A gas in the air that has no smell or taste, and that all the animals need in order to breathe.
